Chicago, IL—In a move that could potentially open the doors to a cat cafe across the street, Cat Cafe, a new cafe, is opening a location in the Chicago neighborhood of North Lawndale.
The Cat Cafe will offer a range of food and beverage options including burgers, sandwiches, salads, wraps, coffee and juice, and desserts.
“We wanted to bring a cafe experience to North Lawdale,” co-owner and co-founder, Jody G. Jones, said in a statement.
“It’s always a challenge finding a space to serve customers, but Cat Cafe’s location in North Lawrdale is the perfect location to serve our customers.”
The location is located on the corner of Chicago and North Lawdsley.
It’s open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the menu focusing on sandwiches, burgers, and salads.
A cafe is not planned in the area.
Cat Cafe is expected to open sometime next month.
The cafe will feature a wide variety of desserts, including pastries, chocolate chip cookies, and ice cream.
